Guided snowshoe hike
Starting at your cabin, you will snowshoe into the surrounding woods. The route navigates over a large, frozen lake and through dense spruce forest. After some time, you’ll arrive at your destination: a traditional lean-to that’s locate beside a frozen lake. There, you can cozy up to a bonfire while enjoying waffles and coffee. This activity can be organized during daylight or after dark, when you’re most likely to experience the beautiful aurora borealis / northern lights.

Cross-country skiing
Just adjacent to Arctic Cabins you’ll find a cross-country ski trail that is many kilometers/miles long and suitable for all ages.

Alpine skiing
Bodø’s best ski resort, Vestvatn Alpinanlegg, is within walking distance of Arctic Cabins.

Ice fishing
